Here's the Boring stuff about Me, but I suppose having reached my first half century by the skin of my teeth qualifies me to write some kind of biography so here goes...

Born in 1954 in the heart of Yorkshire with 3 sisters and Photographer Father I grew up with a great interest in what Dad spent hours and hours doing shut away in a tiny room at the top of the house.
He taught me all about Photography and dark room skills and I enjoyed for many years Printing my own work.

Today however in this digital revolution everything is far easier, though I still use film for special commissions and types of work, the bulk of my work today is done on Digital.

I've been fortunate to spend my life thus far in the arts world, having toured in music for many years, I found a wife and a home here in the beautiful land of Cornwall where I decided to rest my weary bones and finally place some roots. Where better?.. every step along this beautiful coastline brings a new image and a new inspiration.
The rolling hills and valleys house some of the most evocative secrets of this mysterious land of legend, and the pure inspiration of living amongst such a wealth of artists poets and craftsmen brings many a smile to my face and image to my lens.

The loss of my Father in 2003 to cancer brought about great changes to me.. I inherited his photographic equipment and decided there and then to put it to daily use and keep the images rolling through his eyes and his spirit alive.

Crippled with Arthritis at the turn of my half Century, and recovering from a heart attack has made lots of other things impossible for me now but my photography keeps my senses buzzing, and my spirit flying, and for as long as I'm able I will continue to bring you these evocative images to inspire and encourage those who have a simple thought or a sultry daydream.. to you all I say one thing.. Follow Your dream and let your heart fly free. Life is for living to the full.
